Jeff and I seldom visit an area without taking in the local architecture. We seldom watch a movie without noticing a great house. We seldom take walks without commenting on a beautiful entry, or welcoming landscape. We live and breathe all things “home”.· It is the pieces and parts that make a house a home, and provides us with essential shelter. Shelter is miraculous. It protects us from the elements and encases us in privacy. It is where we welcome new babies, young adult children from college, friends, family—we celebrate our lives and the lives of others. At the end of the day, home is where we often long to get back to.

We are in the remodeling·business to help people love their homes. We help people make their homes a place they love to come home to. We help them make the previous owner’s kitchen a thing of the past. We help them make their homes efficient, beautiful and enduring for generations to come.
We are very much like the very people we help. Our clients are busy people·who hire professionals to help them solve their problems. They appreciate and value expertise one gets from a trusted advisor. They have no desire to be an expert in all things, choosing to work with professionals in a respective field—this makes their lives easier. They sometimes know what they want, but are in need of help pulling it all together. They seek the insight of a professional to help them with color, texture, and space and product selection. They would prefer spending their time pursuing their chosen areas of interest—be it their own careers, their family, church, volunteer efforts, and friends.
Our own home is also very much like the homes of those we remodel. It is modest, perfect in some spaces and imperfect in others. We see it as a work in progress—often one room at a time. Originally, we thought we’d just put in new windows, and a new front door. We had bigger plans, but didn't think we’d embark on those just yet. New windows, led to new interior trim, which led to new interior doors, which led to re-painting every room. Scope creep, as it is commonly called—is simply giving in to the possibilities and watching your home become all it can be. Ideas breed more ideas. And, of course, reality reminds us we have a budget—and we don’t want to totally blow it. Options are weighed carefully, and choices sometimes narrowed. It is a process.
Yes, we are very much like the people we help. We have personal experience with the emotions of remodeling and years of experience from working with others who have remodeled their homes. We are connected to what it feels like to surrender your personal space—and have new faces showing up at 8:00 in the morning. We understand the concerns about your favorite rose bush next to the front stoop that is prepped to be demolished. We understand you want your indoor pets to remain indoors. We fully appreciate you want to know what to expect, and when to expect it. You are busy and don’t want surprises.

We are in the remodeling business to help people make their homes, the place they long to get home to. A place where they will welcome their friends and family, celebrating life’s triumphs or providing solace to those in need. It’s your home. We want you to love it.
